Turkish Legals...What legals?

I consulted a lawyer, Mujahit Gundogdu in October 2009 and he didn't hang about.  The first court case was 18th November but the lying slag didn't turn up and guess what?...... the Turkish judge scheduled another hearing for 23rd December, the day after I went back to the UK for Christmas.  This wasn't a problem, as Mujahit had Power of Attorney and on the 23rd December, he was back in court but guess what?.......yep, she didn't turn up again, so the kind Turkish judge gave her another 6 weeks free in my apartment, with a hearing scheduled for 13th February.  I was back from the UK by then and duly attended on 13th and guess what?......yeah, you know this game by now and you're dead right, she didn't turn up and guess what?,,,,,,,yep, the kind Turkish judge gave her another free 6 weeks in my apartment.  Please note that plastered all over the wall outside the courtroom is a proclamation that the Council Of Europe system applies here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Huh?....Does the phrase 'Contempt of Court' spring to mind here?  It appears if you want to live free in comfort, you just have to find a nice cosy apartment, fully furnished, smile sweetly at the owner while looking dead honest, then move in and immediately stop paying the rent.  Don't worry, you won't get thrown out and if you plead poverty, IF and its a big IF, you ever get taken to court, you won't have to pay a penny.  This woman now owes thousands of lira in back rent and electricity and water bills to myself and 6 unfortunate renters before me, 3 of them in Alanya.  As if this isn't all bad enough, this slag went to the Jandarma in Side, said I had broken into the apartment and stolen a bracelet worth 40,000 lira (£17,000).  Has anybody taken any action against her for making these allegations in public to several people?  Nope, so if you get any hassle from your Landlord after you stop paying the rent, just go to the police or the Jandarma and say he tried to rape you or stole your old grannies precious heirlooms and all of your gold light fittings etc.  Great system eh?  And this country want to go into Europe....God forbid.  As for my useless lawyer, he made all the right noises at the start but it was all lip service.  As far as I'm concerned, the whole legal system stinks to high heavens.  I know at least two other Europeans who have 'won' court cases but no attempt has been made by the authorities to chase the losers for the money owed.  No wonder so many criminals prosper here.  It all seems like a conspiracy to me.
